Bio for Kevin & Kayla Bates
Kevin is the founding pastor of Life Church in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Following his heart and obeying the mandate given him, Kevin returned to the place he grew up, Franklin Parish Louisiana and in 2002 planted Life Church.
He witnessed it flourish and evolve into a great congregation that would become relevant to Winnsboro and the people of the surrounding area. The Church family embraced the vision of sharing their faith passionately, being deeply devoted in their relationship with Jesus Christ and with great fervor, lovingly serve community in every conceivable way that Christ would!
Kevin is also the Executive Director for MAJC (Ministerial Association of Jesus Christ) where his passion and drive for loving people like he does Jesus is striving to make a difference in the local church and around the world.
Kevin, along with his wife Kayla, love the challenges and the fulfillment of doing life and ministry together. They are deeply committed to each other and to the calling they have embraced! They are the proud parents of two amazing children … Bliss and Boston.
