Pastor Caleb Poole will be speaking on an effective evangelism and discipleship course that walks us through disciple-making in our every day relationships. This approach is relationally driven, respectful of each person’s value and worth as an individual, and yet it is intentional, sequential and practical.
Natural Discipleship was written by Pastor Steve Harris.
We will prepare a syllabus and meals for all attending so we do need an accurate count. If you are planning to attend please email your full name to: Info@TheChurchAtAsheville.com.

Caleb Poole Bio

Hi, my name is Caleb Poole, I am 29 years old. My wife, Jessica, and I have been married for almost 7 years, and we have three children: Samuel (5), Grace (3), and Leah (1). I was saved very early in life and have known I was called into ministry from early on as well. I grew up in a godly home, always attending church whenever the doors were open. I was always a leader in the youth and the church, and served as the youth minister at Bat Cave Baptist Church for two years. I worked as a landscaper with my family, and then as a self employed as a stone mason, kind of a jack of all trades.
My life was drastically changed one day in 2013. I was trying to refine an athletic skill of mine, and God spoke to me saying, “This is where I want you with discipleship and evangelism.” I realized that day that I had been ok with being average in the most important thing in the world, in a way that I wasn’t ok with in sports.
I began to dedicate myself to the Scripture more fervently, and more specifically obedience to It. Before that point in my life, I had been a part of four people coming to Christ, and no discipleship. Since that day, I have discipled over 20 people through Natural Discipleship individually and a couple different groups, and have also been blessed to lead over 40 people to Christ.
I graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible College in December. I am currently serving as the Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, and we have already begun to implement this Biblical model of ministry for the individuals and for the church as a whole. I have a passion for seeing the lost get saved, and seeing the saved be discipled into mature believers who make disciples. This is the call of the Bible for every believer 2 Timothy 2:2 and Ephesians 4:12 are the two main versus that drive the way we do ministry. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do next through this ministry, God bless.
Steve Harris Bio

Passion– I am passionate about building multiplying disciples of Christ by loving God, growing together and serving others. I love helping people grow in the body of Christ by loving God through personal and corporate worship. I love to see them growing together through personal, relational and instructional discipleship. I love to see them serving others through in-reach ministries to build up the body of Christ by praying, serving and giving. I also love to see them serve through outreach ministries: the local outreach of missional (go and tell) outreach, attractional (come and see) outreach and global outreach of starting church planting movements with unreached people groups.
