Salvation through Jesus Christ is the key theme in the New Testament of the Bible. The Scripture speaks to us regarding salvation, sin, repentance, forgiveness, and others that help provide scriptural direction for Christians to follow.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:38-39
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
