They run localized crisis ministries providing emergency food and clothing, a jail ministry, and medical clinics offering free acute care and pharmacy services to uninsured residents. They also operate extensive residential infrastructure, including Transformation Village for women and children, the Veterans Restoration Quarters, and the Costello House for men recovering from homelessness.

 

Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry

Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry is a team of committed churches, staff, and volunteers serving families facing financial poverty and travelers stranded within the eastern Buncombe County footprint. They coordinate critical emergency resources, localized utility assistance, clothing, and food security programs out of Black Mountain.
